Utility Cabinet Art

Mundane utility boxes are being turned into canvases for local artists to add a whimsical look throughout Jonesboro. There are 87 boxes, with some being painted and others being wrapped.  To date, several individuals have painted cabinets, as well as students from three Jonesboro Public Schools EAST programs. Proposed Designs are approved by a committee including members of the public, Jonesboro Police Department, mayor’s office, engineering department and parks department.
