Earle Mural

This mural depicts the steam era during war time as soldiers disembark a train. It was painted by Bryan Speed, assisted by other artists from eastern Arkansas who were members of the Delta Art Society. Speed was a long-time principal of Earle elementary school and later served as the first director of the Crittenden County Museum, located in the train depot that was the subject of the painting. It was apparently painted in 1995 in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II.
