Desha County Museum

Ten buildings furnished with artifacts of the Delta--an agricultural building, three log houses, including a dog-trot c. 1840, plantation commissary housing early medical and dental equipment, and artifacts among other early 20th century artifacts. Newest addition to the Desha County Museum is the African American Pickens Plantation Baptist Church--an excellent example of vernacular Delta architecture.
