Cotton Plant Historical Museum

NOTE:  While Cotton Plant is technically in Woodruff County, it is just barely across the line from Monroe County and near Brinkley, so we include it as part of our "Drive and Discover" trips through the region.

Cotton Plant Historical Museum is a non-profit organization preserving the area's artifacts, history & charitable gifts.  Along with history of the community, it honors two of its most famous residents, Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Peetie Wheatstraw.
