Butler Lodge

Butler Lodge was established circa 1986 by Ida Marilyn Lindsey, whose family has owned the land surrounding the lodge for more than 100 years. The proximity of the land to the White River National Wildlife Refuge makes the lodge an ideal location for sportsmen. After 30 years of providing lodging and home-style cooking to hundreds of guests, Ida decided to “retire” her home as a lodge. Ida’s daughter (Denise Lindsey Moss) and granddaughter (Jennie Moss McSwain) have teamed up to re-open Butler Lodge in 2020, joined by Kelly Green and Mathew McSwain. The Lodge is available for guests year round and is ideal for hunters, fishermen, bird watchers, class or family reunions, or corporate retreats. It has also been used for wedding receptions, birthday parties, and family events.

Butler Lodge boasts six bedrooms (one of which is private) and three bathrooms, a large shared living room, and a spacious dining area. There are also multiple big screen TV’s for guests to enjoy. Delicious cooking continues with the new team, with daily meals being prepared and included in your daily lodging fee. Laundry services are also available on site.
