Driving Directions for Crowley’s Ridge Parkway
The Arkansas segment of the Crowley's Ridge Parkway is a series of federal, state and county highways linked to traverse the entire crescent-shaped ridge. Directions are provided from north to south:
Cross the St. Francis River on U. S. 62 from Campbell, Mo., into St. Francis, Ark., then south to Piggott.
Route through Piggott: U.S. 62 west through the town square, then north to Cherry Street, west along Cherry to 12th Street, north on 12th Street to rejoin U.S. 62 West.
From Piggott, continue on U. S. 62 west to McDougal, then south on S.H. 141 through Boydsville and Knob. Continue south on S.H. 141 to Hooker; then take S.H. 135 south through Lafe to its intersection with U. S. 49 at Paragould.
Route through Paragould: U.S. 49 to Court Street, east on Court Street to Pruett Street, south on Pruett Street to Main Street, west on Main Street to 7th Street, south on 7th Street to U.S. 412 West.
Depart Paragould via U.S. 412 west, turning south on S.H. 168 at Walcott, then continuing south on S.H. 141. Turn east on C.R. 766 (KAIT Road), then south on S.H. 351 to U.S. 49/U.S. 1 at Jonesboro.
Route through Jonesboro: U.S 49/U.S. 1 south to Aggie Road, west to Robinson Street, south to Marshall Street, west to Caraway Road; then south to Matthews Avenue, west to U.S. 49B (Main Street), north to Cate Avenue, west to U.S.49B (Union Avenue), south to S.H. 18; then east to S.H. 1B South, south to Craighead Forest Road; west to SH141 (Culberhouse Road); south to Lawson Road; east across SH1, continuing east to join SH163 South.
Continue south on S.H. 163 to South Street at Harrisburg.
Route through Harrisburg: South on S. H. 163 to South Street, southwest to Center Street, west to the Courthouse Square. Depart the square via East Jackson Street (S. H. 14); then east on S.H. 14 to S.H. 163 South.
Exit Harrisburg via S.H. 14 east and then continue south on S. H. 163. Turn west along U.S. 64 and U.S. 64B . Take U.S. 64B West into Wynne.
(Take U.S. 64 East for sidetrip to Parkin)
Route through Wynne: S.H. 284 (Hamilton Avenue) West into Wynne to Terry Street, south to Commercial Avenue, west to Front Street, south to Merriman Avenue, east to U.S. 1 (Falls Boulevard), south to Martin Drive (CR 734).
Depart Wynne via C.R. 734 east to U. S. 284 south. Continue on S. H. 284 south to Forrest City. (Side Trip: Colt)
Route through Forrest City: South on S.H. 284 to Forrest Street, south to E. Broadway, west to Izard Street, south to East Front Street, west to the intersection with S.H. 1 South.
Depart Forrest City via S. H. 1 South to U. S. 79, then east to Marianna.
Route through Marianna: South on U.S. 79 and S.H. 1 to Chestnut, east to Poplar Street, south to its intersection with S.H. 44 South.
Depart Marianna via S.H. 44 and through the St. Francis National Forest. Depart the St. Francis National Forest via S. H. 242 south, then east on U.S. 49 B into Helena-West Helena.
Route through Helena-West Helena: East on U.S. 49B (becoming Perry and Porter Streets) to Cherry Street, south to Missouri Street, west to Biscoe (U.S. 49B), south to the Arkansas- Mississippi Bridge
